Existing Home - Inspections
Home Inspection prices vary based on a number of factors.
The size and location of the home, does the home have a crawl space or basement,
does the home have an attic, and is the home located on waterfront property.
All of these factors play into the price structure of an inspection, as well
as any other ancillary service that you request.
The base price of an inspection is $400.00 on a home up to 1800 Sq. Ft.
Add a fee of $75.00 for every extra 1-1000 Sq. Ft.
Crawl spaces add an extra $125.00 fee
Attics add an extra $75.00 fee
Extra report copies $25.00 each
Follow up inspections add a $85.00 fee*
Ancillary Services
Water Quality testing adds an extra $50.00 fee
Radon testing adds an extra $75.00 fee
Log Home inspections adds an extra $75.00 fee
New Construction - Inspections
Many times a homeowner needs a progress inspection for their banks
mortgage loan department in order to obtain a draw. These inspections
are done at different times during the different phases of the project.
My fee for these inspections is based upon distance traveled and project size.
The average fee for each inspection phase is $75.00.
This inspection includes photos and uses your bank's inspection form
that you supply for me.
* Follow up inspections are usually needed if a problem(s) exists and
remediation has been used to address the problem.
A follow up inspection is necessary to confirm that
the existing problem(s) have been taken care of.
Sometimes multiple trips are necessary.
I use the latest tools to do my job, as well as the latest reporting software
with a photo gallery, to help you visualize the reported materials.
You, my customer, are the only person that gets a copy of the report.
This is your personal, private report. No information will be shared with anyone
unless authorized by you in writing.
Your report will be a guide for you to determine if the home you are interested
in purchasing is worth the investment.
